On August 16, 2016, Mercury General Corporation issued a press release regarding an order issued by the Superior Court of California regarding the Company’s Writ of Administrative Mandamus and Complaint for Declaratory Relief filed in connection with a decision made by a California Administrative Law Judge and adopted by the California Department of Insurance related to a Notice of Non-Compliance originally issued in February 2004.
