(the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that an independent Data Safety Monitoring Board recommended that the Company’s Phase 2b clinical trial evaluating its oral pill COVID-19 vaccine candidate against an approved mRNA vaccine comparator proceed without any modifications.   On January 14, 2025, the Company issued a press release, providing business updates on its COVID-19, norovirus, and influenza programs, as well as other matters.   Copies of the press releases are attached herewith as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and, other than the quotes by Steven Lo and Dr. James F.
