Section 8 - Other Events Item 8.01 Other Events. Mr. Jack Schwartz died on June 27, 2021. Mr. Schwartz had been a director of J. W. Mays, Inc. since 1987 and had served as its Chairman of the Audit Committee since 1999. Mr. Schwartz also served on the Executive Committee, the Investment Advisory Committee, the Compensation Committee and the Governance and Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors.
