Mendillo, a member of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of General Motors Company (the “Company”), notified the Company that she will not stand for reelection at the Company’s 2022 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, to be held on June 13, 2022, and will retire from the Board, effective June 7, 2022. Ms. Mendillo’s retirement is not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices.
